Nico Zapata has been honing his skills in the practices of architecture and construction in the New York City and Tri-State areas. What he brings to the industry is an unparalleled dedication to great design and best construction practice methods. No matter the size, all projects should be designed with ingenuity and care and built to last.
Nico has had the privilege to work with some of the most notable architectural firms and learn from some of the best contractors in New York City. He began his career at Baxt Ingui Architects, which is one of New York City's leading firms in residential and commercial design. A few years later, he found a new home at Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, where he learned the essence of historic preservation, facade restoration, and waterproofing.
Outside the office, Nico's passion still lies in mentoring inner city children to help them seek a better future than what they have planned for themselves. You might also find him shooting a couple of rounds of 9-ball in a tournament or playing a few matches of chess around town.
